Key Responsibilities
1.Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth :
- Achieve sales targets for geotextiles, geomembranes, and waterproofing products in Mexico.
- Develop market penetration plans for mining, landfills, water management, roofing, and civil engineering sectors.
- Identify new clients (contractors, engineers, distributors) and project opportunities.
2.Client & Distributor Management :
Build relationships with key stakeholders : engineering firms, contractors, government bodies, and distributors.Train and support distributor networks to enhance product knowledge and sales execution.Negotiate contracts and manage tender processes.3.Technical Sales Support :
Provide expert guidance on product selection, installation, and compliance with Mexican standards (e.g., NMX, NOM).Collaborate with R&D / technical teams to tailor solutions for client needs.Conduct product demonstrations and technical workshops.4.Market Intelligence :
Monitor competitors, pricing trends, and regulatory changes in Mexico’s construction industry.Analyze project pipelines (e.g., infrastructure, environmental protection) to forecast demand.5.Reporting & Collaboration :
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.Coordinate with logistics, marketing, and product development teams.Qualifications & Skills
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field.Experience :5+ years in sales / BD roles selling geosynthetics (geotextiles / geomembranes) or waterproofing systems in Mexico.Proven track record in B2B sales for construction / industrial products.Existing network with contractors, distributors, or engineering firms in Mexico.Technical Knowledge :Expertise in geosynthetics (e.g., TPO,HDPE, LLDPE geomembranes) and liquid-applied / polymeric waterproofing coatings.Understanding of applications : landfills, tunnels, ponds, roofing, foundations.Language : Fluent Spanish and English (written / spoken).
