Accounts Payable Leadership RoleThis senior leadership position involves overseeing and managing accounts payable activities for both US and LATAM business.
The ideal candidate will be an organized and decisive leader with excellent communication skills, able to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.Key Responsibilities : Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.Distribute expenses accurately and efficiently.Manage team members in Mexico and the US, including hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating staff.Compile and analyze financial information for management and government agencies.Develop, implement, and enforce budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.Administer the Concur Expense and Invoice Management System.Ensure EDI and Conexium vendor process is functioning as expected.Properly code and distribute expenses to the general ledger.Develop and maintain key metrics as required by management.Perform account reconciliations of vendor payable accounts and research and resolve discrepancies.Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.Timely process and complete month-end, quarter-end, and end-of-year transactions, reporting requirements, and close process.Perform various close activities ensuring branch expense review and provision, support audit requests as directed by management.Experience with IRS 1099 compliance and reporting / documentation for audits.Work cross-functionally with other departments within the company.Assist in complex initiatives to streamline and improve the Accounts Payable process through systems automation and process improvements.Assist in M&A projects as needed.Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives.
