Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations / Engineering Director located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Operations Engineering Director is responsible for ensuring that all operational processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company’s goals for metal-mechanical organization. Working closely with various senior management positions, the Operations Engineering Director will provide strategic leadership to develop, improve and implement high productivity and quality standards in a safe and healthy work environment.

What a typical day looks like :

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the organization to promote a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams providing guidance, training, and ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
• Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, required by customers, at the most competitive cost.
• Define operational goals and execute.
• Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing large organizations.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for operational activities, ensuring cost-effective operations to achieve the company’s financial results.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Meet with Executive Business leaders (at least monthly) to review and evaluate KOIs.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Provide strategic leadership to different areas (such as purchasing, production control, planning, engineering, maintenance, etc) to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Monitor and analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit, train and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
