Our client is a financial services and investment management company expanding its operations in Mexico City. The organization provides innovative capital solutions and is committed to efficiency, transparency, and sustainable growth.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Director of Operations to establish and lead the client’s Mexico City office. You will oversee day-to-day operations, build and manage a high-performing team, and ensure compliance with local regulations while aligning closely with U.S.-based leadership.

Location and office

They are currently operating from WeWork Reforma and plan to move soon to a new office in Polanco , maintaining a strong in-person culture centered on innovation, trust, and product excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage back-office, finance, HR, and administrative operations in Mexico City.
• Develop and implement workflows and procedures for efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage vendor relationships, office administration, and technology infrastructure.
• Provide reporting on KPIs, budgets, and operational performance.
• Drive process improvements, risk management, and quality assurance across functions.
• Support business growth initiatives and facilitate collaboration with U.S. leadership.
