Overview

We are seeking a Solution Architect GCP (GKE) REMOTE to join our team in Mexico. This role focuses on designing and delivering GCP-based cloud architectures and migration strategies, with emphasis on GKE and related GCP services.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing cloud solutions on GCP
• Enhancing delivery systems with Continuous Integration
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet goals
• Deploying, monitoring applications in a Kubernetes environment
• Configure hardware, services, settings, and storage
• Improve monitoring and alert systems
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems as needed
• Documentation and support
• Set up monitoring and logging to troubleshoot a cluster or debug a containerized application
• Manage Kubernetes objects and workflows
• Declarative and imperative interaction with the Kubernetes API
• Manage Secrets and confidential settings using Secrets
• Configure load balancing, port forwarding, firewall rules and DNS configurations
• Hands-on Terraform; write reusable Terraform modules
• Hands-on Python and Unix shell scripting
• Understand CI / CD pipelines in a globally distributed environment (Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry)
• Experience with GCP services and writing Cloud Functions
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes infrastructure with Terraform Enterprise
