What You will Do :
The Technical Advisor at SailPoint begins by leveraging their experience to build a deep understanding of our SaaS and / or Software solutions. Within a month or two, they are serving as a technical lead on customer engagements and cases where they will employ their client and partner communication skills, as well as their industry knowledge, to share organizational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance. After their first six months, Senior Solution Architects will have established themselves as both technical and consultative experts within the Professional Services organization, and by the end of their first year, they will have become a trusted advisor to customers, partners, leadership, and to less experienced team members.
Required Responsibilities
- As a trusted advisor, provide strategic direction to customers and implementation partners for a successful Identity Security Program.
- Perform assessments on customer’s current Identity landscape and build out their future identity road map.
- Build out customers’ Identity role-based access control and application onboarding programs.
- Ensure SailPoint best practices are followed throughout the project for successful delivery.
- Advise and provide direction to junior resources on project implementation.
- Provide pros & cons to customers for building custom tools to meet their unique & complex business goals.
- Maintain healthy business relationships with customers and partners.
- Work with other advisory services leads, program managers, and provide recommendations on any needed changes for the program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the product roadmap, limitations, and advise strategic directions to customers.
- Document and present SaaS product adoption gaps.
- Recommend areas for SaaS product consumption improvement.
- Solve complex problems using the product’s Atlas extensibility platform (hands-on implementation work).
Additional Responsibilities (Optional)
Manage, mentor, and coach direct reports.Manage project scheduling, budgeting, risk, and weekly status updates.Work with CSM renewals team to lower churn risk, increase SaaS adoption, and generate leads or manage new advisory services opportunities.Responsible for renewal opportunities and closure for existing Advisory services clients.Requirements
8+ years of experience in a technical consulting role.Strong communication and presentation skills for assessments and roadmaps.Experience with any Identity provisioning and governance products.Experience with networking, directory servers, and databases.Experience with Azure, AWS is a plus.Experience with Web APIs is required.Object-Oriented Programming experience is beneficial.Strong organizational, leadership, and multi-tasking skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with documentation management and project management tools.Attention to detail under pressure.Time management skills to meet deadlines.IdentityIQ or IdentityNow Certification is a plus.Experience with data science & machine learning language models is a plus.Experience with scripting frameworks (Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, etc.).SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer.
