About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and strategic Legal Director to lead the legal strategy and operations of a fast-scaling automotive finance company. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of legal matters across the organization, reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage all legal functions, compliance, and risk strategies across the company.
• Advise executive leadership on all legal matters related to financial regulation, automotive partnerships, and corporate strategy.
• Oversee legal change management to ensure all corporate transitions are handled in full regulatory compliance, aligned with the company’s accelerated growth environment.
• Manage a high-volume contract environment.
• Structure and support alliances with top automotive groups in Mexico.
• Ensure proper handling of open market lending, title loans, and financing for new and pre-owned vehicles.
• Support corporate governance, M&A, IP, and labor matters.
• Build and consolidate a strong legal department to effectively support the company’s operational growth and strategic objectives.
