The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing the pre-sales technical process for our team in Latin America. You will primarily act as an evangelist and subject matter expert on the Company’s portfolio of advanced network video streaming, bonded cellular technology, media delivery and management platforms. Provide pre-sales technical / architectural support to partners and customers.

Provide onsite and remote assistance with proof-of-concept engagements and post-sale support as necessary.

Assist sales managers with overall account management within assigned accounts as well as project management for complex presales engagements.

Attend and assist with the setup and operation of technical systems at regional training and tradeshows as necessary.

3-5 years technical experience in computer software, IP video, encoding and decoding technology, bonded cellular technology, and / or advanced IP networking.

~ Background in the broadcast media industry.

~ Proficient communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate the advantages of the Company’s products to business and technical decision makers, as well as senior executives.

~ Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals both internal and external, from senior executives to technical decision makers.

~ Fluency in Spanish and English languages

Our sales engineers interface with a wide range of technology. IP Video Streaming, encoding, decoding, and / or transcoding.

Bonded cellular data transmission

LAN / WAN network topologies to include Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) or multicast network distribution.

Experience with network and computing security standards and best practices in enterprise and broadcast applications.

Firm understanding of video compression technologies such as MPEG-4 / H.Familiarity with technical issues surrounding audio and video delivery over traditional broadcast networks and contribution methodologies, such as terrestrial microwave and satellite IP networks, desirable.

Comfort working within the Linux command line and with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript are a plus.
