Sr Sales Engineer – Automotive Electronics

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and drive sales opportunities for electronic components at Tier I and Tier II automotive suppliers and emerging OEMs.
  • Effectively manage key accounts, providing technical sales support and saturating business potential within the account.
  • Lead project management from first design discussion, prototyping, approval, production scale‐up phase and first sales.
  • Collab daily with design engineers for electronic components.
  • Execute sales strategy and develop action plans aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate execution of customer roadmap and ensure closure of CRM (e.g. ACE) projects.
  • Actively manage implementation of price strategy in the region.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
  • Drive implementation of key strategic initiatives in the sales area.
  • Deliver sales and distribution targets and coach sales team members.
  • Ensure efficient geographic coverage and cross‑selling opportunities to achieve full business potential.

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or management in a technical or business discipline.
  • Background in the automotive business, ideally 3+ years relevant experience, and / or background in electronic components.
  • Proven track record in execution of projects, managing simultaneous workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of OEM development process and related tools.
  • Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit, and hands‑on mentality.
  • Experience working effectively in cross‑functional and international teams.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • Travel domestically and internationally (≥50% of the time); advanced English.
