You will own the supplier quality reporting directly to the SQM Leader, overseeing supplier quality performance, inspection plans, and lead measurements. This role requires leadership and motivation skills. The SQM area ensures the quality of raw materials used for production.
Primary responsibilities :
Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)Support production line operationsFollow up on non-conformance materials from suppliersLead measurements for special inspections required by departments or suppliersDrive NCC (Non-Conformance Cost) recovery from the supply baseManage 8D reports for supplier non-conformancesRequired Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience :
Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields6 months of proven engineering experience (internships are welcome)Proficient in EnglishAdvanced Excel skillsKnowledge of digital tools like Power BI, TableauFamiliarity with SAP, Minitab systemsBasic knowledge of Six Sigma tools, Thermoset, thermoplastics, metal stamping, ISO, VDA, APQP, Core Tools, Negotiation, 8D, PPAPResults-orientedTeamwork and decision-making skillsEqual Employment Opportunity Statement
