Role purpose and responsibilities
The SQM Engineer will lead the supplier quality reporting directly to the SQM Leader. Supplier quality performance, VDA audits, inspections plans, lead measurements requirements, PPAP process are part of the responsibilities. This role requires leadership and motivation skills. SQM area assures the good quality of raw materials used for production.

Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)Lead third party suppliers VDA AuditsParticipate in APQP ProjectsConduct Product Part Review for new parts and new suppliersSupport SQE as technical and problem solving expert in complex problemsSupport operation for production linesFollow up of non-conformance materials from suppliersLead measurements for especial inspection required by any department and or the supplierDrive NCC (Non Conformance Cost) recovery from supply baseResponsible for 8D form the Supplier non conformanceBasic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field4+ years of proven experience in related positionKnowledge in MS Office and SAPStrong statistical analysis skills, advanced MinitabKnowledge of Six Sigma tools, Thermoset, thermoplastic, metal stamping, ISO, VDA, APQP, Core Tools, Negotiation, 8Ds, PPAP, GD&TStrong negotiation skillsProject Management experienceExperience in leading multifunctional teamDesirable experience Power BI and / or TableauLead Auditor VDA 6.3 is desirableBlack Belt Six Sigma is desirableProficiency in English is a must (Minimum B2)Equal Employment Opportunity Statement
