• The Job :
• As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll be part of our Quality Engineering team working as a on-site employee. You’ll get to :
• Component quality monitoring.
• Tracking the disposition of non-conforming supplier material.
• Evaluate with the quality engineer any production line failures associated with supplied components.
• Create supplier quality issue notification alerts.
• If necessary, ensure the supplier complies with SPPAP requirements.
• Require return material authorization from suppliers for the disposal of defective components.
• Analyze and communicate PPM performance to suppliers.
• Request, evaluate, and follow up on suppliers' corrective actions.
• Visit and conduct quality audits of national and international suppliers, if necessary.
• The Person :
• 3-5 or more years of professional work experience with direct proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
• Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ or Six Sigma Green / Black belt is a plus.
• Experience Certified Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
• Proven experience with Quality Tools & Six-Sigma : DMAIC, GR&R, Cpk, SPC, DFMEA, PFMEA, Problem Solving 5Ys / 8Ds.
• Experienced in applying quality tools and techniques (SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, GD&T, Sampling Plans, and Corrective Actions / Problem Solving)
• Demonstrated Project management skills, solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication & presentation skills both written & oral; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, database applications like ETQ, Power BI, data warehouse)
