Job Description :
In this role you will be able to advise and coordinate critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, communications and public relations plans, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing for key platforms and specialties for the Ethicon franchise in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the annual strategic plan for your area of responsibility and ensure tactical deployment across the region.
- Influence and work closely with local leaders to develop and activate platform / specialty strategy in the different clusters of the region.
- Be responsible for LATAM targeting, segmentation and pricing strategies for each product in the platform / specialty, and conduct market research to validate.
- Collaborate with Originating Companies (OC); provide recommendations and input for the development of platform / specialty marketing strategy considering regional market needs and ensure full alignment from global to local.
- Represent LATAM market requirements at the OC in Platform Leadership Teams (PLTs).
- Lead new product / program launches into the region with Launch Excellence (LEX).
- Gather and analyze market intelligence reports and provide strategic feedback to the organization.
- Develop and manage the Strategic Plan forecast.
- Drive cross-market communication and learning to ensure best practices and competitive insights are shared across markets.
- Accountable for Sales and P&L attainment (GP, Opex, MNI, SNI) for the respective platform / specialties.
- Participate in designing the sales incentive scheme to ensure alignment with the established marketing strategy.
- Execute new standards of Marketing Excellence in the organization.
- Develop marketing collateral and support materials aligned to the above strategies.
- Design the organization under your responsibility to meet enterprise objectives.
- Coach and mentor direct reports, driving a strong talent agenda and bench strength.
- Develop and ensure adherence to the annual budget.
Qualifications
Education :
University / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MBA degree preferred.Seasoned leader with 10 or more years of leadership experience in a combination of Sales and Marketing Management roles with a proven track record of achieving business results in challenging environments.Previous experience in Medtech is required, and in Surgery business preferred.Marketing acumen and demonstrated ability to shape development of marketing strategy.Previous experience in Regional Roles preferred.Fluency in English and Spanish (or Portuguese).30 – 50% travel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
