Role summary

The Therapeutic Area lead is a role within Value and Implementation Global Medical and Scientific Affairs reporting directly to the Executive Country Medical Director and is an important medical leader and point of contact for the therapeutic area-related activities for Mexico as aligned with the LATAM region. The Therapeutic Area lead will be the primary contact for all and will aim to strengthen internal and external partnerships to increase overall performance in areas of unmet need.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Primary Activities

• The Therapeutic Area lead is responsible for Medical Affairs management, including Insight management, Group Input Meeting, non-promotional medical education programs, independent medical grants, metrics reports and dashboards, medical review, scientific training, Pre-License Patient Access Programs, local data generation, Investigator Studies Program, and budget for the others.
• Serves as matrix leadership of country Therapeutic Area lead team to ensure bidirectional communication and implementation of Therapeutic Area lead strategy
• Is core member of Country Leadership Team and supports
• Closely interacts with Regional Therapeutic Area Team around regional priorities
• Plans and executes Therapeutic Area budget
