Optimize Gas Turbine Performance Specialist

Job Title : Combustion Turbine TechnicianA snapshot of your day includes optimizing the performance of large gas turbines by tuning, troubleshooting, and commissioning them.

You will be working on implementing improvements and logic changes in the control system to ensure maximum efficiency.Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve maintenance issues related to large gas turbinesDevelop a deep understanding of combustion theory and dynamics, particularly in Siemens Energy large gas turbine systemsPerform advanced combustion tuning procedures on Siemens-Energy SGT6-5000F SGT6-6000G SGT6-8000H frame gas turbines to mitigate pressure fluctuations and enhance performanceWork closely with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and complete service projects ensuring start-up, commissioning operations, and troubleshooting support for equipment failuresPrepare accurate reports detailing condition assessments, repairs, and recommendations for customer equipmentLead and supervise I&C technicians' teams to implement project scopes when required, adhering to established protocols, policies, and competencies of our management systemRequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience as a field service commissioning and combustion tuning engineerExpertise in troubleshooting, combustion tuning, and commissioning of large gas turbinesTeamwork, result-oriented risk management, adaptability, and flexibility in an environment with changing requirements and prioritiesProficient computer skills and ability to learn other software as neededFlexibility and willingness for domestic and international travel (80%+)Working proficiency in English (verbal and written)Why Join Our Team?
