Position Summary :
The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales and operations teams by leveraging data-driven insights to improve forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, and optimize sales performance. This role also contributes to inside sales functions by assisting field sales with day-to-day tasks, including, but not limited to, quotes, orders, RMAs, and basic sales support. Key responsibilities include maintaining Salesforce CRM integrity, aligning demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity, and collaborating across departments to ensure efficient sales execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Forecasting & Planning : Analyze historical data and market trends to generate reliable demand forecasts. Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management to align forecasts with production and inventory strategies. Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend improvements.
- Inside Sales Enablement : Assist with quote generation, order entry, processing returns, and general sales support tasks. Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction. - Sales & Operations Support : Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and forecast metrics. Identify process improvements across sales operations and support SIOP initiatives to align demand and supply.
- Salesforce CRM & Reporting : Maintain accurate account, opportunity, and pipeline data in Salesforce. Develop dashboards and reports to support sales leadership and inside sales activities. Provide training and promote best practices to enhance CRM adoption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to support end-to-end sales execution and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field. - Experience : 2–4 years in Sales Operations, Inside Sales, or Business Analysis. - Skills :Proficiency in Salesforce CRM (reporting, dashboards, data management)Strong analytical and forecasting capabilitiesAdvanced Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)Familiarity with ERP systems (BPCS, SAP, Oracle)Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Preferred :Experience with SIOP processesKnowledge of SQL or similar query languagesUnderstanding of manufacturing workflows and supply chain principles
