The Director of Operations will oversee the full operational strategy and execution of an ultra-luxury residential development and world-class golf resort. This executive leader will be responsible for all operational departments , ensuring seamless performance across real estate development, hospitality services, sales, finance, construction coordination, estate management, and owner relations .
In the absence of the Project Director, this role will act as the primary decision-maker and second-in-command , representing the project at the highest level with internal and external stakeholders.
This position requires a proven track record in ultra-luxury environments , strong financial acumen, operational excellence, and international leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and integrate all operational departments (development, construction support, sales, marketing, finance, HR, hospitality, golf operations, estate management).
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive profitability, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Ensure alignment between development phases, sales goals, and operational readiness.
- Act as Project Director during his / her absence, with full decision-making authority.
Financial & Business Performance
Monitor and manage P&L, operating budgets, CAPEX / OPEX, and financial forecasting.Identify revenue opportunities and cost optimization strategies across all business units.Partner with finance to prepare performance reports and executive presentations.Ensure ROI on every operational initiative and development phase.Sales & Revenue Strategy
Oversee the luxury real estate sales strategy in alignment with market trends.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to position the development to UHNW buyers.Drive cross-functional coordination between sales, operations, and guest / owner experience.Support pricing strategies, revenue modeling, and high-end buyer relations.Experience & Service Excellence
Ensure world-class service standards across residential, golf, hospitality, and lifestyle programs.Implement ultra-luxury operational protocols, SOPs, and Forbes / Five-Star level standards.Collaborate with architects, designers, and hospitality consultants to maintain brand vision.Team & Stakeholder Management
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams.Establish strong relationships with investors, ownership groups, contractors, and strategic partners.Represent leadership in executive meetings and project updates.Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.Requirements & Qualifications
✅ Minimum 7 years of experience in operations leadership (real estate, hospitality, resorts, or mixed-use developments).
✅ Minimum 4 years of experience in luxury real estate or resort sales leadership.
✅ Proven background in ultra-luxury environments (hospitality, real estate, private clubs, or integrated developments).
✅ International experience in at least 3 different countries (mandatory).
✅ Strong financial and operational management skills (P&L, budget, forecasting, ROI analysis).
✅ Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
✅ Ability to operate strategically while executing with precision.
✅ Bilingual preferred (English + Spanish). Third language is a plus.
✅ Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
Development or opening of luxury resorts, golf communities, or branded residences.Collaboration with UHNW clients, private owners, or high-end real estate investors.Familiarity with international standards such as Forbes, AAA Five Diamond, or branded luxury residences .MBA or advanced degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, or similar (preferred).What We Offer
