Descripción del trabajoBachelor's or Master degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or related field 10+ years minimum relevant experience in power generation, industrial, or similar type projects. Knowledge of the NFPA regulations and standards : 13, 14, 20, 22, 24, 72, 101 Familiarity with NFPA 850 and NFPA 2001 preferred Ability to navigate local code requirements / amendments (NOM's desirable), other NFPA standards and criteria such as FM data sheets on an as-needed basis Construction administration experience preferred Advanced English is a must Vacation days, Christmas bonus, and vacation bonus above the law standard Savings fund Food vouchers Social security Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Life Insurance Paid Time Off (Vacation & Public Holidays) Training & development Wellness Resources (Medical appointments at a preferential price and discounts in drugstores and stores)

Responsibilities
- Provide fire protection and life safety design, analysis, construction support for power generation facilities
- Perform fire hazard analysis for the site to determine hazards and appropriate active and passive fire protection schemes in conjunction with the requirements of the applicable codes, standards, and contract requirements
- Generate calculations to size water supply, fire pumps, and underground pipe sizing
- Develop subcontractor scope of work packages based upon the fire hazard analysis and calculations.
- Award and manage subcontractors based upon the scope of work packages developed
- Review subcontractor fire suppression and fire alarm system plans and calculations
- Review fire barrier and penetration seal requirements for specific hazards
- Perform life safety reviews for buildings and industrial equipment areas
