Product Engineer

Descripción del trabajoSuggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield. Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues. Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development. Work with design team to resolve design related issues. Serves as the first line of communication on all product issues, quality questions, and production. Assists in product launches and gathering information for the product development process. Provides presentations on products, service training, and other topics as required. Actively participation on Kaizen events. Propose, evaluate and implement product improvements. Evaluate material technical specification and standards for deviation proposals. Communication skills. Technical knowledge HVAC. Technical knowledge of control systems, electrical diagrams. Interpretation of engineering specifications for mechanical and pressure components. Ability to prioritize and effectively execute tasks under a pressure environment. Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly. Experience working in a team environment. English strong written and oral communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Minimum 3 years applicable experience. SAP operational knowledge. PTC Creo or other 3D design software.
What you will do?
- Implement product engineering initiatives efficiently, in accordance with corporate policies, procedures and specifications, to produce within the parameters of quality and target cost.
- Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
- Collaborates with all departments of the plant to find root cause and solution of problems related to design, quality, suppliers, product or process.
