Sr. Product Engineer

What will you do :

The Sr. Engineer is responsible for contributing to the product team through product design, testing, data analysis, and project management. The Sr. Engineer will also support the manufacturing and sustaining of the product, including initiating and executing design changes. All of these tasks require strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present information to engineering teammates, engineering managers, and product management.

How will you do it :

Maintain an understanding of theories, concepts, technical principles, and processes related to fluid, thermal, and mechanical aspects of products.

Contribute to the on-time completion of programs and regularly report on the status of projects.

Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to generate layout concepts and system configurations that balance cost, performance, and reliability.

Coordinate and help execute test programs to validate performance and reliability of mechanical systems and components.

Analyze, design, modify, and troubleshoot mechanical sub-components and systems based on test data.

Generate and review technical documentation for use within the product team and for distribution to external customers.

What are we looking for :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

3+ years of experience in design, product development, or R&D.

Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey detailed technical information.

Experience with CAD modeling and understanding of mechanical design principles.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory codes such as UL, CE, and ASME.
