Senior Plant Quality Manager

Overview

Senior Plant Quality Manager at Molex. You will lead and manage quality assurance and quality management programs to ensure all manufacturing operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet rigorous design, quality, and integrity standards. Your role is critical in driving operational excellence, maintaining certifications, and fostering a zero-defect mindset across the plant.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by achieving internal and external quality targets and KPIs aligned with the plant-wide Annual Operation Plan.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant certifications.
• Act as the site quality and product safety representative with authority to halt production when quality or safety risks are detected.
• Promote a zero-defect culture and the Molex Quality Vision throughout the organization.
• Lead customer satisfaction initiatives by ensuring successful audits, timely resolution of complaints, and continuous improvement.
• Utilize advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC) to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Manage the deployment and use of FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC tools to prevent defects and improve processes.
• Oversee compliance with automotive and special customer requirements (e.g., BIQS, VDA, Q1).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product certifications (UL, CSA) and support environmental and safety standards.
