Labor And Employment Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned Labor and Employment Lawyer to serve as a key legal partner for our People teams across all of our business groups in Mexico and Latin America.Job DescriptionThis role involves providing timely and practical legal advice on labor / employment law needs, offering day-to-day advice on hiring, performance management, employee relations, leaves of absence, workplace safety issues, discipline and termination, compensation, benefits, and union / labor relations.Requirements : A minimum of 8 years of labor & employment law experience is required.Bachelor of Laws Degree or equivalent is mandatory.Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.Prior in-house experience is preferred.Main Responsibilities : Provide expert guidance on labor / employment law matters.Partner with investigative functions to provide day-to-day employment law advice relating to internal investigations.Oversee employment-related litigation, including responding to attorney demand letters and making recommendations on corrective action.
