The role of a Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal part in overseeing daily customer order shipments, verification, and receiving processes. This position also involves other transactional activities within the shipping and logistics team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepares daily pick and ship lists using current computer software and ensures accuracy at all times.
- Runs Shipping tags, gathers information on an Excel Spreadsheet, and verifies data for discrepancies.
- Stages material for live loads, tags them correctly, and ensures efficient loading procedures are followed.
- Lives load LTL carriers, adhering to company protocols and industry standards.
- Loads dropped trailers, tags products accurately, and bills products via current software.
- Verifies all orders are correctly assigned and packaged for shipment, meeting quality control requirements.
- UPS orders are billed through the UPS system, while orders are then billed via our software and tracking is added to the order.
- Additional duties include receiving and verifying product, kitting paint loads, unloading, forklift operation, blow off, assembly, and working in a team environment to assist where needed.
- Meets or exceeds all daily, monthly, and yearly corporate goals set by management.
