Job overview

The People Operations Specialist, as part of the Human Resources team, will contribute to the development and implementation of core HR processes, programs, and best practices to support strategic objectives. The Operations Specialist will provide functional support to the HR Operations and Talent Acquisitions teams while ensuring a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction and service. The ideal candidate believes in thinking creatively with a focus on continuously improving core process delivery tools and systems – such as talent acquisition, supporting onboarding & the employment life cycle and various engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Degree / General Education Diploma and 2 years of demonstrated experience working with or supporting a Human Resources function, recruitment team, and / or HR Operations processes.
• Applies broad knowledge of business concepts, procedures, practices, and a general understanding of Human Resources fundamentals.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively connect with others.
• Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a Business Administration or related field, Human Resources preferred.
• Experience with Workday or other applicant tracking system.
• Professional experience in a fast-paced business setting.
• Experience with the Scrum and / or Agile framework.
