Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Create CAD models and drawings using company sponsored CAD systems

Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards,Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and CommercialStandards, and special security requirements.

Understand Design Change documentation and requirements and execute changes.

Define dimensional constraints and geometric tolerances required for proper clearances andfits while maximizing manufacturing capabilities.

Learn to perform basic stack-ups.

Understand input from the different engineering disciplines.

Concurrently work on multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality, and ensuringschedule requirements are met.

Identify process and product improvements.

Self-check of work.

Required Qualifications

Engineering Bachelor's Degree

Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position

Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English on any topic withfew mistakes (mistakes that do not affect clear understanding).

Sound understanding of design principles relevant tofunction (GD&T, CAD).

Presentation Skills : Ability to communicate across functions.

Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
