Project Manager Construction

Overview

Newmark is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager responsible for coordinating the development of infrastructure projects within an organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct infrastructure projects.
• Define tasks and timelines.
• Coordinate across departments.
• Manage budgets.
• Ensure timely delivery and drive and implement process improvement solutions for this infrastructure project management.
• Infrastructure areas include Azure Cloud, M365, Network, Server, Configuration Management, Messaging, and Telecom teams.
• Work closely with management and technical staff on operational items and issues.
• Identify infrastructure goals and project delivery.
• Define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives.
• Identify needed members for the project team.
• Record, document, and plan concisely.
• Identify prime risks and limitations within a project plan.
• Evaluate and determine plan variance from project performance.
• Oversee precise project results to identify if relevant quality standards are attained.
• Collect and present performance information related to infrastructure projects.
• Identify prospective conformance and concerns associated with project initiatives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout an organization to gather the fundamental business requirements to attain project goals.
• Conduct change throughout the project, including schedule, scope, and team membership.
• Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates across entire business units and management levels.
• Manage the execution plan for the transition of all IT services.
• Identify the prime cause of contention or disagreement and recommend necessary corrections.
• Ensure capture, prioritize and solve project problems in an organized manner.
• Optimize and improve processes.
• Collaborate with the engineering and operational team to define which runbooks should be prioritized based on how often they are run.
• Build a personal relationship with key staff from infrastructure and applications as well as management.
• Proactively manage issues and mitigate risks to enable projects to stay on time, within budget, and with the expected scope.
