Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Partner Relations Specialist to manage and grow our subcontractor network. This individual will be responsible for onboarding new subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring smooth collaboration between partners and our company. The ideal candidate will be a confident negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to balance business goals with fostering long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding process for new subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company requirements and standards.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve competitive outcomes while maintaining partner satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractor communication, addressing concerns, feedback, and escalations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, project management, finance) to align subcontractor capabilities with project needs.
- Monitor partner performance, track KPIs, and ensure subcontractors meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Proactively identify new potential partners and expand the subcontractor network in alignment with business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of partner agreements, documentation, and communications.
- Represent the company professionally in all partner interactions, fostering goodwill and loyalty.
Qualifications
Proven experience in partner relations, subcontractor management, vendor management, or business development (solar / renewables or construction industry experience is a plus).Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and resolve conflicts effectively.Exceptional communication and soft skills ; able to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills .Ability to manage multiple partners and projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.Proficiency in CRM and project management tools is preferred.Personal Attributes
