About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BI Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support monitoring existing reports, query our data warehouse (BigQuery) for ad hoc requests, and write Python code to pull data from API endpoints. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in lead generation, especially in the legal vertical. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment and play a key role in expanding our reach and impact in the mass tort industry.

Location : Remote (must be available 9am - 5pm Eastern Time)

What You\'ll Do

• Build and update dashboards
• Understand semantic layer (LookML, Cube)
• Monitor dashboards to identify outliers and inconsistencies
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate sources of errors, then fix the problem or summarize the issue for the data engineer to fix
• Format reporting in Excel and merge data from multiple datasets with VLOOKUP and other advanced Excel functions
• Write ad hoc SQL queries with multi-table joins to retrieve data
• We use MySQL and BigQuery; experience with any SQL RDBMS works
• Write clean and composable SQL code
• Knowledge of CTEs and window functions is required
• Write Python code to pull data from REST APIs
