We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Senior BI Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, gather requirements, and define project objectives
- Examine and document workflows, business processes, and system interactions to derive actionable insights
- Propose creative, data-driven solutions aimed at improving processes and driving business success
- Organize workshops, conduct interviews, and lead efforts to gather and clarify requirements
- Develop detailed documentation, including project specifications, user stories, and use cases
- Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the development cycle
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams to execute
- Assist in testing and implementing solutions to ensure they align with business needs and expectations
- Oversee multiple projects in a fast-moving environment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a BI Analyst, ideally with expertise in the insurance sectorAdvanced skills in SQL for data analysis, validation, and creating prototype queries, including joins, aggregates, and basic window functionsStrong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including ETL / ELT processes, Data Lakes, Data Marts, star and snowflake schemas, and the distinction between fact and dimension tablesHands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau for developing dashboards and visualizationsUnderstanding of data quality principles like accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness, along with experience validating or testing reportsAbility to translate business goals into KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworksExperience working with data models, including ER diagrams and understanding entity relationshipsFamiliarity with master data, reference data, and metadata management conceptsKnowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies and experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability to independently suggest innovative ideas and process improvementsStrong skills in communication, stakeholder management, and presenting insights effectivelyEnglish proficiency at B2 level or above to support effective communication and collaborationNice to have
