Role Overview

We are seeking a Research Operations Program Analyst to support IDCs global research operations team from Mexico City. This role focuses on process implementation, review, and governance , ensuring operational excellence and data quality across multi-country programs.

The position is highly collaborative, requiring coordination with internal stakeholders, analysts, and external vendors, while reporting directly to management in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Program Support : Assist in the management of multi-country research projects, including planning, fieldwork, quality control, and delivery.

Process Implementation & Governance : Execute and monitor operational processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Tools & SLAs : Work with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Jira, Smartsheet , while tracking SLAs and outcomes (timeliness, error rate, data quality).

Efficiency & Innovation : Identify opportunities to improve research operations efficiency through automation, dashboards, SOPs, and templates.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination : Support coordination with analysts and vendors across LATAM and other regions, including budget tracking, POs, and invoices .

Data Privacy & Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to Mexican and international data-privacy standards (consent, access controls, GDPR, cross-border transfers).

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred (Business, Information Systems, Communications, or related).

35 years of experience in research operations, project / program coordination, or similar roles.

Proven skills in process implementation, review, and governance .

Strong command of project management and data tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Jira, Smartsheet).

High-level English proficiency (C1 / C2) mandatory . Daily reporting and communication are in English with U.S. stakeholders.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently (individual contributor, no team leadership).
