Senior Software Engineer

They seek a Senior Software Engineer to join the team in Mexico City . As a Senior Software Engineer , you will be responsible for leading the engineering team, with a strong focus on backend development. You will actively write code while guiding the backend and frontend teams to deliver scalable, high-quality, and innovative solutions. The role will be 70% active code writing and 30% coaching / leading. This role requires technical expertise in backend development, experience with leadership, and the ability to bridge communication between engineering and other cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring alignment with the company’s technical and business goals.
• Define technical priorities, allocate resources, and manage team deliverables to meet project timelines.
• Write and maintain scalable backend code, primarily using Golang and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy codebase on GCP and AWS.
• Design and optimize backend architecture, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Integrate AI services built-in Python into the backend infrastructure to support innovative features.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the frontend team, which uses React and TypeScript.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive the adoption of efficient development processes, tools, and methodologies across the engineering team.
• Ensure proper documentation for systems, processes, and APIs to maintain technical transparency.
