Overview

We are seeking a POS Integration Engineer to support a large-scale retail POS implementation project. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and extending POS functionality to deliver seamless in-store and omnichannel customer experiences.

This engineer will work hands-on with POS systems, APIs, and microservices, while collaborating with global and offshore teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, integrate, and extend POS software modules (basket, tender, returns, loyalty, promotions, stock).
• Design and build APIs and services that connect POS with back-office, loyalty, ERP, CRM, and e-commerce systems.
• Support POS rollout and testing across multiple channels (stores, kiosks, mobile, self-checkout).
• Implement error handling, retries, and performance optimization for POS transactions.
• Create and maintain CI / CD pipelines to deploy POS-related services and configurations.
• Lead and participate in system integration, performance, and load testing .
• Provide Level 3 support during rollout and production stabilization.
