About us

At Koltin, we’re redesigning the way we care for our moms, dads, and grandparents to help them remain healthy and independent for as long as possible. About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us design and build the backend infrastructure and APIs that will power our new mobile app and support the experience of thousands of older adults across Mexico.

You will play a critical role in enabling a secure, reliable, and scalable system to serve our members and operational teams. More details below but we are looking for someone that can do things across the stack but is more inclined to the backend side.

Had experience with

Fiveish years of web development with the likes of PHP & Laravel, Ruby & Rails, Elixir & Phoenix, etc

SQL and relational databases like MySQL / MariaDB, PostgreSQL

Fast-paced startup environments

Automated unit / integration / behaviour / etc tests

Multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with designers, product management, data

Bonus : Familiarity with frontend frameworks like VueJS, React, Tailwind, etc. If not, there’s no worry as long as you are open to learning!

Knowledge of our stack (not a requirement, just a bonus) : PHP & Laravel, MariaDB, VueJS & Inertia & Formkit, Tailwind.
