Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional / global ESS sales plans to meet revenue and market share goals.
- Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team; set individual KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
- Identify new market opportunities (e.g., utility-scale, commercial & industrial, residential) and key customer segments.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals with clients (utilities, developers, EPCs, etc.).
- Collaborate with marketing to design product positioning, promotional campaigns, and customer education materials.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and policy changes; adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Report sales performance, market insights, and risk factors to senior management regularly.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.8+ years of sales experience in the energy storage / renewable energy industry, with 3+ years in a managerial role.Deep understanding of ESS technologies (lithium-ion, flow battery, etc.), market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading teams to drive business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Ability to travel domestically / internationally as required.Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish) are a plus.This position is also being recruited in Brazil, Chile and Colombia.If you are interested in the position and location, you could also directly apply for the position.
