Monitors trends and establishes action to improveResponsible to oversee that raw materials and components are available for production.Directs scheduling and shipping departments to ensure customer demands and expectation are metProvide leadership, discipline, and support to ensure the highest level of safety, housekeeping(5S), and professionalism within the PC&L departmentMeet / exceed targets for customer performance metricsDirects all planning functions to ensure efficient, timely delivery of partsResponsible for all inventory and warehouse management functions, including inventory accuracyDirects freight and logistics functions in accordance with corporate standardsProvide leadership and support to Freight Forwarders, Custom brokers and purchasing to optimize logistics efficiencyNegotiate contracts with freight carriers and outside storage warehouses when needed.Must support all APS activity in the plantResponsible for the annual submission of the MMOG / LE assessmentEnsure compliance with all related TS-16949, MMOG / LE, and ISO-14001 policies and procedures.Manage planning and inventory control activities for engineering changes, part revisions, launches and build-outsLiaison between Purchasing Corporate and SLP Plant.Other duties as assignedInterpret and administer the Company's policies and proceduresManage key process indicators (KPI) related with PC&L.Update and analyze the risks and opportunities attributable to your process, plan, implement, monitor related actions to eliminate, share, mitigate and / or reduce the impact of risks.Plan and / or contribute to the management systems with quality, safety and environmental approaches that are the responsibility of their department.Plan, analyze and report the results of the department's objectives, as well as the results and actions to fulfill them.
