Descripción del trabajoDirects and coordinates the activities within the PC&L department Responsible for plant inventory levels and key metrics Develops and ensures compliance to formal policies and procedures. Monitors trends and establishes action to improve Responsible to oversee that raw materials and components are available for production. Directs scheduling and shipping departments to ensure customer demands and expectation are met Provide leadership, discipline, and support to ensure the highest level of safety, housekeeping(5S), and professionalism within the PC&L department Meet / exceed targets for customer performance metrics Directs all planning functions to ensure efficient, timely delivery of parts Responsible for all inventory and warehouse management functions, including inventory accuracy Directs freight and logistics functions in accordance with corporate standards Provide leadership and support to Freight Forwarders, Custom brokers and purchasing to optimize logistics efficiency Negotiate contracts with freight carriers and outside storage warehouses when needed. Must support all APS activity in the plant Responsible for the annual submission of the MMOG / LE assessment Ensure compliance with all related TS-16949, MMOG / LE, and ISO-14001 policies and procedures. Manage planning and inventory control activities for engineering changes, part revisions, launches and build-outs Liaison between Purchasing Corporate and SLP Plant. Other duties as assigned Interpret and administer the Company's policies and procedures Manage key process indicators (KPI) related with PC&L. Update and analyze the risks and opportunities attributable to your process, plan, implement, monitor related actions to eliminate, share, mitigate and / or reduce the impact of risks. Plan and / or contribute to the management systems with quality, safety and environmental approaches that are the responsibility of their department. Plan, analyze and report the results of the department's objectives, as well as the results and actions to fulfill them.
