Project managers serve as the liaison between the client and the different stakeholders involved in the project.

They are involved in discussions with the client and Account Manager to ensure they have a clear understanding of the client's expectations and desired outcome.

The project manager is responsible formaintaining a broad overall view of the entire project, which means he / she delegates certain tasks to Project Coordinators or other team members.The project manager is the one ultimately responsible for the final quality of a project, ensuring that it's delivered on time and to the client's satisfaction.

For this reason, project management is more of a leadership role, one that frequently involves trusting others with the completion of specific parts or stages of a plan or process.Being ultimately responsible also means the project manager is in charge of managing issues, conflicts or emergencies that may arise, as well as coming up with alternative solutions if the initial plan can't be carried out for some reason.Duties and ResponsibilitiesScope and quote translation and localization projects for identified clientsPlan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirementsManage client relationships and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clientsProvide support and input to internal teams and clients, including education about the localization process, as requiredCollaborate with international production teams to create, implement, and maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, checklists, and instructionsEnsure the accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules, and processes to maximize efficiency and profitabilityResolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teamsOrganize and participate in client meetingsSkills and QualificationsLocalization experience is requiredMinimum of 1-year project management experienceProven knowledge of industry-related tools (CAT, OCR, TMS, etc.)Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environmentStrong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated self-motivation and flexibility to work independently, and as part of a team but also under supervisionProfessional and consistent communication with clients and internal teamAttention to detailExcellent organizational, planning and multi-tasking skillsAbility to provide clear directions and guidance to a small teamGathering basic production data for QBRs or other client reportingWhat we offerJoining a vibrant multicultural team spread across the Americas, Asia, Africa and EuropeProfessional development and growth opportunities in the localization industryTraining in new tools, technologies, and processesEnergetic, multicultural, and empathetic working environment
