Job Description
The IT Director will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive technology vision that ensures operational efficiency, scalability, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. The primary mission is to guarantee that all systems, applications, and platforms support business evolution, optimize processes, and elevate the organization’s overall technological capabilities.
This leadership position requires a visionary professional with deep expertise in IT governance, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, who can align technology strategies with business objectives.
Ideal Professional Profile
Age Range : 35–55 years (not restrictive)
Education : Bachelor’s in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. A postgraduate degree in Technology or MBA is desirable.
Languages : Intermediate to Advanced English (oral and written).
Certifications : ITIL, CISM, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified (mandatory or highly desirable).
Key Technical Knowledge Areas
a) Technical Support & Infrastructure
Administration of infrastructure : Windows Server, Linux environments.
Incident and SLA management using ServiceNow, Jira, FreshService.
Virtualization technologies : VMware, Hyper-V.
ITIL Foundations and IT service management practices.
b) Cybersecurity
Design and implementation of IT security policies, hardening, backups, DLP, and EDR.
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall) and IAM / MFA solutions.
Compliance with financial and data protection regulations (CNBV, ISO 27001).
Use of SIEM solutions : Splunk, Elastic, AlienVault.
Corporate antivirus and endpoint protection management.
c) Internal Consulting & Business Applications
Experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA, SAP Business One, Salesforce integrations.
Functional knowledge in Finance, Loans, CRM, and Accounting.
Proven track record in IT project management : implementations, migrations, integrations.
Process automation tools : Power Automate, UiPath, scripting (Python, PowerShell).
d) Networks & Telecommunications
LAN / WAN management, switching, VLANs, QoS, VPNs.
Administration of PBX and VoIP systems (3CX, Cisco CallManager, Avaya).
Redundant links, SD-WAN, MPLS, and fiber optics.
Internet service provider supervision and telecommunications vendor management.
Desirable Knowledge in Software, Systems & Methodologies
Cloud platforms : Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
Business Intelligence : Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud.
Project Management Tools : MS Project, Jira, Asana.
ERP / CRM Systems : Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, NetSuite (nice-to-have).
Frameworks & Methodologies : ITIL, COBIT, Agile / Scrum, DevOps fundamentals.
Requirements
Advanced technical expertise in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
Strong financial sector or cooperative industry background (preferred).

Requirements
Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role in a fintech environment. Strong team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of tech professionals. Extensive experience working with API integrations and a deep understanding of related technologies. Prior work in the money transfer or BaaS sectors is highly desirable. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. Excellent communication skills, conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards in the fintech industry. Proven ability to scale technology infrastructure to support rapid business growth. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing fintech operations. Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives within a tech organization.
