The Senior Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of complex SAP-based solutions across multiple business capabilities. This role focuses on creating scalable, integrated architectures that align with global and regional strategies, while partnering with both business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions for the external sales domain (Order-to-Cash process).
Responsibilities
- Define and execute solution architecture strategies aligned with enterprise goals and IT standards.
- Act as the technical lead for medium to large-scale projects spanning multiple business areas.
- Own solution design, including configuration, data modeling, and integration planning.
- Deliver technical blueprints such as application and physical architecture, process and system maps, and service / interface design.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable architectural solutions that meet business objectives.
- Ensure consistent use of enterprise information, technology platforms, and security frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture to confirm alignment with global IT strategy and standards.
- Represent solution architecture within internal communities of practice and ensure documentation in enterprise repositories.
- Manage architectural implementation activities, including design variance handling and technical evaluations.
- Partner with vendors, development teams, and external partners to implement solutions effectively.
- Provide guidance to development teams, offering technical leadership and mentorship.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, SAP trends, and best practices in solution architecture.
Required Qualifications
Fluent in English (written and verbal).Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) with strong Order-to-Cash process knowledge.Advanced proficiency in ABAP troubleshooting (no hands-on development required).Experience with EDI and IDoc integration.Background in solution architecture, software engineering, and high-level design; capable of producing HLDs and ideally LLDs.Strong understanding of integrated environments (e.g., EDI, BI, ETL, ERP) and ability to work across SAP and non-SAP technologies.Excellent consultative and problem-solving skills, collaborating effectively with business analysts and enterprise architects.7–10 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles.Demonstrated ability to drive work independently and lead multi-disciplinary teams.In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies and solution delivery practices.Proven collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.Broad IT and business exposure, with technical or professional certifications preferred.Comfortable working in a remote, multi-time-zone environment with global teams (LATAM, EMEA, APAC coverage).Focus Areas
