At Stellantis, we invite experienced engineers to join our team as Quality Engineering Specialist. This is a 100% on-site position at our Saltillo plant. In this role, you will lead an engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time.

Our ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least 8 years of experience in body, interior, and chassis components. They must have effective communication skills and the ability to work off-shift hours.

The job involves defining containment actions, vehicle issue diagnosis, risk assessments, corrective action plans, and proposing alternative product solutions. The role also includes participating in quality engineering tech clubs, implementing good ideas and standards, and ensuring team skills are at the right level.

Key responsibilities include :

• Defining containment actions to apply for customer protection.
• Diagnosing vehicle issues and conducting root cause analysis.
• Ensuring timely pre-analysis activities.
• Leading corrective action plans and risk assessments.
• Guaranteeing product-process maturity.
• Proposing alternative product solutions.
• Participating in quality engineering tech clubs.
• Implementing good ideas and standards.
• Ensuring technical requirements application.
• Managing team skills and daily management control meetings.
• Ensuring team safety.
• Leading quality KPI management.
• Resolving systemic / chronic or major quality issues.
• Providing technical support for Yard Holds / Product Related Issues.
• Setting up / on-going controls for process / product standards.
