Maintenance Engineer

ObjectiveEnsure the reliability, availability, and performance of production equipment through the implementation and continuous improvement of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

Lead the team of engineers and technicians to guarantee process standardization, KPI compliance, and operational support, contributing to the plant's stability and competitiveness.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop Basic and Detailed Engineering to improve equipment conditions and performanceRedesign and calculations for Spare Parts Recovery in Central Blocks WorkshopSpare parts and materials engineering to eliminate chronic failures in components and equipmentGenerate and participate in activities for ACRs on equipment with the highest failure incidenceGenerate and provide technical support for new items in the Critical Equipment WarehouseSupport with engineering studies to solve problems related to hydraulic leaks, sand, and compressed airPerform equipment performance audits based on OEM standards and propose improvement plansSupport the development and updating of special methods for Maintenance personnelRegister, control, and monitor equipment with limited capacity (CRPL)Propose design solutions for components and equipment issues that impact MTBF / MTTDevelop and update Routines for Mechanical and Electrical personnel on shiftsComplement activities in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Plans to increase reliabilitySelect and specify equipment and materials to solve capacity problems, ensure proper application, and extend service lifeResearch and obtain support from technology firms to adapt equipment to process needs and environmental conditions.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.Strong knowledge : 5+years in Aluminum Handling, Operations, Maintenance Planning & ControlManufacturing Industry.Technical Competences : TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Design and Interpretation of Technical Drawings, Supply Chain / Value ChainSoft Competences : Conflict Management Communication, Negotiation, Decision making, Leadership.Language : English (full bilingual proficiency)
