And if that's you we would love to have you join usJob DescriptionPosition SummaryResponsible for performing system design engineering for industrial automation projects based on programmable controllers, drives, operator / field devices, communication networks, etc.Essential FunctionsAnalyzes the customer's requirements to determine the optimal controls system strategy solutions and determines applicable industrial controls configurations and architectures.Develops high quality electrical / layout diagrams and a corresponding Bill of Materials by reviewing customer requirements, standards, quotes, specifications and / or manager description / sketches.Interfaces with manufacturing and the project manager to support an engineering design, part delivery, and presents status and options as required to maintain budget and delivery schedule.Supports manufacturing to assess progress, provide technical assistance, final inspection and sign off.BusinessResponsible for meeting project schedule, engineering hour budgets, and customer satisfaction targets for own activities.Identifies scope deviations and communicates early and often the impact to hardware cost, schedule or resource needs to the project manager and department manager.Coordinates customer requirements with appropriate departments to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.May assist sales or project management with providing scope definitions, hardware and labor estimates and validations of proposals.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering discipline.Minimum of 3 year of relevant experience in electrical design, including schematics and panel layout using AutoCAD or similar software.Knowledge of Allen-Bradley Powerflex drives, and PLCs.Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to industrial control systems including the NEC, NFPA79, UL508A.Must perform duties in the office as part of a project team and demonstrate technical leadership skills.Available and willing to work overtime to meet customer project commitments.Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Fluent in English.Desired QualificationsExperience in control system applications related to variable speed drives and industrial automation systems.Drive, PLC and HMI programing.BenefitsSaving FundFood coupons.Major medical insuranceRetirement benefitWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
