Descripción del trabajoHigh-impact role influencing plant-level profitability and performance. Cross-functional collaboration with operations, supply chain, and engineering. Opportunity to shape internal controls and cost strategies. Dynamic mix of analytics, reporting, and process improvement. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA / CMA preferred. 5–7+ years in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel. Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing, and cost analysis. This position is onsite four days per week in Piedras Negras. Relocation assistance will be provided.

This is a unique opportunity to lead cost accounting for a key manufacturing operation, directly influencing profitability and performance at a global scale. As a trusted finance partner, you’ll own standard costing, inventory valuation, and margin analysis—while driving process improvements and mentoring junior talent.
What your day will look like :
- Lead monthly close activities for cost accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze cost variances and partner with operations to identify savings opportunities.
- Oversee inventory valuation, audits, and fixed asset capitalization.
- Build dashboards and models to support executive financial reporting.
