Develop and maintain the organization's cost accounting system, documents, and records.

Analyze costs and recommend cost-saving measures.

Prepare and conduct internal cost audits.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial statements.

Analyze collected data and maintain detailed records of findings.

Monitor inventory transactions and processes.

Plan studies and gather data to determine the costs associated with business activities.

Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs, including changes in standard costs.
