Sr. Operations Plant Controller

Swoon is actively hiring a Sr. Operations Plant Controller to join the team in Piedras Negras!

What will your day-to-day will look like?

• Oversee financial management activities including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and inventory accuracy.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analytics, and investment analysis to support management decisions.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including annual standard cost reviews, variance analysis, and monitoring of cost centers to drive efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Mexican GAAP, corporate policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes by coordinating documentation, testing, and inventory audits.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the plant manager and operations teams by delivering financial insights, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and cost analysis teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence.
