You will play a critical role in transforming QA processes and driving innovation across our testing ecosystem.

In addition to designing and developing test automation, you will help scale our AI-powered testing strategy, bring deep backend and API testing expertise, and apply strong knowledge of testing best practices.This position will ideally be hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site, though a remote arrangement is possible.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.WHAT YOU'LL DODesign, develop, and execute test plans and cases across backend services, APIs, and databasesChampion backend test automation, especially around API testingLead initiatives to integrate AI-driven tools and agents into the testing pipeline to improve velocity and coverageBuild and scale AI tooling across backend, general, and simulation testingAuthor, maintain, and evolve automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright or similarIdentify and debug automation and application failures; drive resolution with development teamsCollaborate cross-functionally with developers to ensure comprehensive testing strategiesContribute to and improve team processes, tooling, and standards to raise the overall bar for qualityParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies and offer thought leadership in testing methodologies and process improvementsMentor and guide QA peers, sharing best practices in testing, automation architecture, and quality strategyWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR4+ years of experience transforming QA processes and introducing innovative solutions (ideally involving AI / ML or intelligent automation)Strong background in backend and API testing, automation, and best practicesFamiliarity with AI-powered test automationAbility to define test strategies and methodologies, and lead best practice adoptionProven ability to work effectively with globally distributed teamsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent required#LI-HybridAt EarnIn, we believe that the best way to build a financial system that works for everyday people is by hiring a team that represents our diverse community.
