Senior Qa Automation Engineer

Overview

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing automation scripts, executing API and performance tests, and implementing robust testing strategies within a Scrum team environment.

This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java + Selenium

Design and execute API tests using JMeter to validate backend services and performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective testing strategies

Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to support continuous delivery

Use Git for version control and maintain clean, well-documented test code

Apply basic AWS knowledge to test cloud-based applications and environments

Participate in Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Identify, document, and track bugs; work closely with developers to resolve issues

Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and QA processes

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver

Experience with RESTful API testing

Hands-on experience with JMeter for API and performance testing

Familiarity with AWS services (basic level)

Proficient in Git and version control workflows

Ability to implement and maintain testing strategies across multiple platforms
