About The Role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of test automation across two SaaS products.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building scalable testing frameworks, and can coach teams on best practices.

You'll play a key role in ensuring quality while enabling rapid development cycles.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks using Playwright.

Migrate existing test suites from Cypress to Playwright.

Integrate testing processes into CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and enforce testing best practices.

Work with modern frontend stacks (React, Vitest) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Support and guide teams in adopting lightweight QA discipline and processes.

Quickly learn and adapt to Backendless runtime models if not already familiar.

Must Haves

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright in real-world SaaS products.

Experience migrating from Cypress to Playwright (strong plus).

Proficiency with CI / CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, Vercel, or similar).

Familiarity with Vitest, React, and modern frontend development.

Comfort with Backendless or willingness to quickly learn.

Ability to coach teams on testing best practices.

Strong communication skills to bridge QA, product, and engineering needs.
