Overview
Executes on high level Portfolio initiatives, manages Portfolio-level information delivery, and leads planning for a significant Portfolio, while overseeing delivery of multiple initiatives in a highly complex, fast paced environment. Establishes best practices and drives the ongoing evolution and improvement of the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) process to optimize flow and performance across Portfolio value streams. Leads the development and practice of Lean Governance standards for the Portfolio and supports change management activities throughout the Portfolio management process. Applies advanced knowledge in Lean Portfolio Management to utilize Lean and systems thinking approaches to Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and / or Lean Governance.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment : Drive portfolio initiatives that align with strategy and investment priorities
- Governance & Operations : Lead governance, manage funding, and oversee the lifecycle of portfolio
- Performance Optimization : Monitor KPIs, report metrics, and guide continuous improvement across value streams
- Stakeholder Engagement : Educate and support stakeholders, lead change management, and resolve delivery impediments
- Agile Integration : Promote Lean-Agile practices, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with Agile Release Trains
- People Leadership : Manage and develop direct reports, foster a culture of learning and accountability, and model effective leadership behaviors
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred7-10 years leadership in project management, or related experience, or minimum 2 years in Portfolio Management and / or Agile Coaching requiredFull proficiency in EnglishSAFe Lean Portfolio Manager Certified requiredSAFe Agilist or SAFe Practitioner Certified requiredChange Management Certification - ADKAR, Prosci or equivalent preferredSAFe Program Consultant Certification preferredTechnical & Business Skills
