You are a detailed oriented, organized, payroll professional able to work under strict deadlines.The ideal candidate will serve as the payroll and benefits expert, working closely with the Finance, Accounting, and People Strategy teams, and developing and improving processes for the payroll function.
Also, will need to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with these group above.You possess a logical and methodical work manner accompanied by high level of attention to detail and confidentiality.You will spend your time...Processing (monthly) payrolls for all affiliates of Colombia, in conjunction with an external payroll vendor.Responsible to monitor the accurate processing with an external payroll vendor of all aspects of the payroll process including but not limited to, maintaining and processing time and attendance records; processing all payroll deductions; processing compensation changes, overtime and shift changes and withholding adjustments;Responding to payroll inquiries from employees;Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure all workday employee information is passed to payroll accurately and with appropriate backup required for auditing purposes.Serve as point of contact for payroll and timekeeping system, troubleshooting and problem resolution.Preparing and providing all required payroll and related reports needed for month end and payroll general ledger postingResponsible for review and accurate completion of periodic and year-end reporting informationRespond to all auditor inquiries.Respond to inquiries and requests from local tax authorities.Additional tasks and projects as assigned.Required SkillsMore than 5 years Payroll processing experience (and Time and Attendance experience if applicable)Firm understanding of payroll processing principlesExcellent communication skills.Must be able to interact with various levels of management.Must work well under strict deadlines and under a high-volume environment where multi-tasking is essential.Knowledge of Colombia tax regulations and implications.Confidentiality a mustMicrosoft Office- Excel, WordPreferred ExperienceKnowledge in Integration payroll processAdvanced English – writing ang speakingSAP experience
